This is where I get technically upset because we are in South Africa and being punished for it. I love going onto forums (oh look im on a forum right now) and talking about my favourite topics.

MyADSL is broadband and internet, ABC.com, NCB.com and the likes have their own forum I like discussin the plots of the shows I enjoy and the likes

If you go onto sites like abc.com or nbc.com, fox.com etc you notice, THREE WAYS TO WATCH. 1) Download/Stream your episodes 2) Buy them 3) At 8/9 central right on the station, for all the prime time shows.

Does Multichoice allow us to stream the episodes right after being aired? Nope, why? Just because our goverment is keeping us back does that mean we need to sit back. Just as most interviews and media programs have said technology is going so fast, nobody can police it.

I certainly do not like the idea of giving up the enjoyment, the extra degree of entertainment and interactivity of posting on those forums, or not watching a series at all just because its not here yet, or wont come here.

My interest right now, Heroes, NBC Primetime program, nbc.com -> go there, big RETURNS 22nd January with episode 12.

I checked the multichoice site out before i started watching this show (when it was still episode 4 on NBC) and M-Net or Multichoice didnt even have any record on their site of a show like Heroes existed. Nowhere on Coming Soon for the next 5 months... now yeah

Piracy is wrong, however downloading/watching a episode is fine in America online aslong as you have Cable, if you have DSTV/SABC etc depending where a series comes from, then you should be able to view the program in a smilar way.

What is right and wrong is very clear, yet what feels right and wrong is very different, its almost can I call it unfair?

Another thing the only other reason I wont watch series on there and only the movies is because of adverts. Mr.G and Adverts = World War 3

Dear sir, I am sure you are crossing the law here, you are NOT allowed to acquire content that is not licensed for South Africa yet. You might as well write the good folks at DSTV a big fat letter telling them how YOU will be contributing to their loss of profit!

I am really unsure of the legitimacy of your actions, you need to seek council on the matter.

If I can make a copy of an online game that I've bought and rather use that to play online, thus saving my disc from damage, I will. Nothing you can do about it.

Personally I don't believe in Region restrictions, and neither does most international law. Australia even permits chipping console if the goal is to circumvent regioning.

If you want an American show that's not here, buy the DVD's and have them shipped over. That's totally legal. Likewise with online content, but good luck finding someone that doesn't block IP ranges geographically.

i think i should go shoot people and steal their games, thus not pirating it. i think at least i will get a lighter sentence.

rapist/murderer = light sentence
pirate = similar sentance or heavy heavy fine

i shall seek council on the matter prior to acquiring my free games though, and i shall scout the forums for candidates who own the most games...

then i'm gonna have some chocolate nesquick and wax my keyboard for some pro surfing. followed up by some severe minesweeper and winamp activities... patience is rewarded...

lol. Or get Russia some piracy laws.

No, theres nothing you can really do.. its not much to get too upset about. Pirates will always be pirates, they wont suddenly buy originals no matter what you or anyone says or does so give it up.
