Ok now ... there is absolutely no way I am going to feel any sympathy until the big media companies reform - their current distribution methods are completly backwards and self centred

Under their model p2p sharing of a tv show would be legal - but it would be illegal to remove the adverts
In terms of music - artists make money off commercial use of their work and live performances - I mean I would much rather pay R100 to watch the RHCP live than to spend that on one of their cds ... the cds promote the artist
