Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games

I'll definitely be watching all cycling including bmx, swimming, track and field, rowing, whitewater kayak/rafting, and even handball (which is surprisingly fun to watch. Watched it last olympics for the first time).

The best events imo
 
Out of interest i'll also keep an eye on womens weightlifting to see if that guy wins haha

Chad le Clos will probably be able to get a medal or 2.

Keen to see up and coming young talent Tatjana do well too. From what I can see she has posted the world nr1 time for 200m Breast this year. Would be epic if we can have relive the Penny Heyns 1996 Gold medals.

Yip and with Carbon shoes being allowed at the Olympics and the extra year of prep they are going to be world records broken in many events. I know the 800, 1500, 5000, 10000, marathon and mens hurdles all have potential world record beaters or current world record holders.

With South African track and fielders I don't think Wayde Van Niekerk is going to beat his world record and think the American guy is going to take it. Akani has got much faster and maybe on the day can pull something off but I would put my money on Brommell, Laird or Fahnbulleh.

Would prefer a native Roku app if possible.
Do no mind to pay a sub for the duration.
 
I see loads of football teams at the Olympics are now taking the knee. And here I thought all protests were banned :rolleyes:
 
There was canned cheering when the women’s football team scored. Brazil was doing ok

It definitely works I the Netherlands. Part of Discovery so if they are US based you can maybe looked at Discovery+

Just started watching the opening ceremony from the start. 4 minutes in and these ...commentators?... are annoying AF. Are they 80 years old or something?
