Took a tumble! :(

Hi,

My BB took a tumble thanks to my lovely puppy!

It comes on, makes calls, but the screen is not working.

Where can I have it repaired in Cape Town.
It's not under warranty anymore.

I think you can still have your service provider repair it even though it's not under warranty anymore, they'll just give you the bill.

BBs are bad quality though...I don't know a single person who hasn't had issues with theirs. How bad was the "tumble"?

Took my 8520 to berryfix for a broken screen. R800 later it was fixed, expensive drop.

You're either very careful or very lucky...or both. Good to hear there's a working blackberry out there though

I've no idea what the SP will charge to fix this though. My brother's BB Bold's screen also looked similar as I recall, but it was luckily still under warranty.

BerryFix quoted me R800 and only replied to my request for a quote yesterday.
Yet, when I posted this thread, I e-mailed them - so took forever - and I did try calling them and their phone rings and rings and rings.
I took the phone to a cellphone shop in Long Street and the guy fixed it for R500.
