I tried twice now to remove my wisdom tooth and both times I’ve had to halt the process after multiple attempts at extraction by the dentists with EXCRUCIATING pain, resulting in my tooth being broken in pieces. Despite more injections it’s still unbearable.

Anyone know of a doc who can sort me out under general anesthesia in Johannesburg?

Ask for Dormicum. You take it 30 minutes before the procedure and you will wake up the next day well refreshed.

:crying: Sounds like they might be impacted, you are going to need a surgeon… be prepared to separate with big $$$$ if your medical aid is on the skew side.

Sounds like 2 dodgy dentists if you felt excruciating pain during a wisdom tooth removal.

Medicross was quick and painless for my Widom Tooth removal. I has a few bits impacted from bruxism (grinding teeth).

Dentist told me to stop doing so much drugs or the grinding of teeth will get worse. I got some morphine off them too and medical aid paid for it!

This or something else is odd. I've had extractions and implants and other than the weirdness of a tooth being pulled and drilling into your bone there's no real pain with it.

Implants? Is that an uncomfortable op, drilling into the jawbone?
