The latest MyBroadband speed test results show which ADSL ISP accounts in South Africa provide the highest average speeds

I expected the average speed to be higher,Telkom should offer line speeds in between 4 and 10 Mbps due to the nature of copper and adsl in general. Based on the assumption that the isps are not at fault here.

It would be nice to know when and where these test were done, or are they averages. Network load and line distances play a huge role in connection speeds.

Strange. On my Afrihost 10meg Business, I often max out my line, I get just under 1 full megabyte per second.

I only sync at 7235 kbps but i get more than most of these guys
