DOES NOT WORK. Twsted it myself and so have a few friends, me being the only 1 witb a bundle could see just how inaccurate it is. Of the almost 60mb I have used this month its only bothered to track about 2.5mb, that's just way too inaccurate to be of any use.

There's only one feed reader I use (on PC and cell phone) that's really user friendly and that's Feedly... It's free and linked to Google Reader so you won't have to re-add all your sources. Definitely worth checking out. :)

+1. Feedly is the best feed reader there is

i was looking for an app that could schedule when certain features like wi-fi is turned off and came across this great free app: https://market.android.com/details?id=com.alfray.timeriffic&hl=en

I use it to switch off wi-fi between 12 and 6 at night, but you can create multiple schedules to control vibrate, mute and airplane mode. I have woken up at night and checked it and it worked.

Looks good, i opted for the paid app, tasker, a few dozen more features than what this has and i think it was $5, IMO it was worth it. Make use of most of its functions.

I found a new app that I think is amazing. Its called unified remote and it basically allows me to use my phone to take over from my mouse and keyboard on my pc. If you're connected to a wireless it makes those lazy days so much better.

Eg. Last night, I didn't want to have to get out of bed to change episodes of the show I was watching. Open app, move mouse. play next. Win!

brilliant app, just downloaded it :), my best part is not having to get out of bed to shutdown my pc :p
it only works when i turn my nod32 firewall off, how do i keep it on but still allow the program to run?

what extra's are there in the paid version? is there a way to fast forward by using a slider with vlc?

Edit, got it through the firewall

You can also use Llama. https://market.android.com/details?id=com.kebab.Llama

Using uTorrent Remote and PocketCloud (Remote Desktop) for my home server. Really fun to add torrents while away from home. A+ Timetable also really nifty for keeping your lecture schedule, widget shows venue and time of next lectures. Ski Free Clone for nostalgia.

LOL, I know how you feel, at least with the MIUI rom you can use the build in firewall to block crap like ads
You saying its really as simple as blocking the 'ad service' or something? Wow, that's a bit lower grade from the android side... So if I disconnect the data service on my phone there wont be any ads? Interesting... going to actually test that theory.

Actually adfree blocks the host itself. it updates the host file to point the ad server to 127.0.0.1, ie localhost, ie the phone itself.
So if you edited the host file to point google.co.za to 127.0.0.1 you would never get their as google.co.za is not actually on your phone.
I have never seen ads on my phone, have however seen the space where they go. LOL
