Top Gear S22

5th gear is probably a more objective/realistic car show. feck those tg plonkers.

The highlight of the show for me was the Star in the reasonably fast car, the best one liner came from the studio audience member though :-)

I like the screwing around. There are so many other resources for *objective* car reviews. Who wants a show about boring mid level cars? I own boring mid level cars.

Rambulance. Hehe.

There's many other choices if you want actual reviews of cars. TG for ****s and giggles. Having said that some of the stuff is getting pretty old and predictable now. Even if you want the US/Aus versions it's basically not as funny guys replicating the same **** in different cars.

5th Gear is boring.
It is, but it's there for all the idiots bitching about Top Gear being Top Gear. If you want boring, objective car reviews there are plenty of magazines (including the Top Gear one) and websites for that. And other car shows. These geniuses want it to be Car Show #6158321.

How many shows have air-powered stretchers, or trips through East Africa in station wagons or herding cattle in the Outback with a Bentley?

I don't watch 5th Gear, but I do watch Top Gear.

Tells you everything you need to know.

The former is a car review show, and the latter is pure entertainment not necessarily always backed by facts.

Exactly, where else will you see if its possible to climb a dam in a land Rover using its own winch

Some of their stunts not shown anywere else, i think that's why its so popular

I've seen almost no Fifth Gear. I should check them out.

Not at all. Top Gear are great at reviewing cars. The normal reviews are funny, and the special trips they take are awesome. I used to find the non-review antics funny, but not anymore. Maybe I'm just getting older, but more often than not I find Top Gear cringeworthy. The reviews in the last episode, the Huracan review and the first half of the Australia trip is all I've enjoyed of the current season.

When they coming to sa to mess up Durban?

Would love to go see one of their live events

Saw them on YouTube messing around with a minibus taxi.....

Love the way they debunked everything in that ad without degrading it in any way. It is pretty famous spose

They're no different from any other Youtube review.

Their Kyalami show was fairly entertaining. Got to see Sasha Martinengo bungee from a crane in a mini but only from the street outside

Any ideas when there coming back to sa,
Love the politically incorrect Jeremy, not afraid of nobody, even talks about nkandla without fear,
Can only guess what he said about SONA chaos.
