Top Gun Maverick

Well your latest argument is that it’s impossible to show a pilot in a f35.
And for some reason you want it to be a”main” actor.

You are ok with cgi in 3 aircraft, but for some weird reason they can’t use cgi to show a pilot, “main” or not in an f35.

Here is some impossible footage of main actors in f22’s

Your argument doesn't factor in that they wanted to shoot everything practically where possible. There's no way to shoot it in camera. That's the point I've made from the beginning, in keeping with their vision. So yea, there's no way to do it in camera in an F35. Just isn't. They could have used any number of tricks to do it, but they wanted it all real, visceral, in camera. Hence the planes they chose.

Um yeah, so there is still no reason for not using an f35. Because you have no reason.
You can’t say it’s because of cgi. Because they used cgi for other aircraft.

So give it a rest already. This has gone full circle 3 times already.

Yea you seem to be unable to grasp basic concepts. I'll draw some pictures in the morning when I have more energy.

The F-35 is 5th gen. They initially wanted to use them but the military wouldn't allow them to. And understandably so.

I think the F18's were a perfect choice. I would've liked to see more Carrier scenes, but it's hardly a complaint.

Could also have used a few F35’s to take out the SAM sites and SU57’s.
Or used cruise missiles for the SAM’s.

Not sure sure why they needed 50 cruise missiles to take out a runway when a cluster bomb can do the job.
But it’s a movie…
Cluster bombs do not damage runways enough to make them inoperable. There is a warhead design that use rocket assistance to penetrate an crater the runway.

Here we go again. People are now "experts" at flying american fighter jets. Who is right and who is wrong, who is dumb and who is dumber. Do you realise how absurd these arguments sound like. Almost like you really know what you're talking about. How many fighter jest have you actually flown to become such an "expert".

Heaven forbid we try and think about things independently hey, that’s best left to people authorised to think.

I've flown several in fact

On FSX and PREPAR3D

But they are kak, I like flying things like the Stratofortress more, load it up to a 100 tons and try to make the runway, great fun.

Was thinking of going to the cinema for the first time in ages to see this movie. But now I'm scared it will turn me into one of those clowns that argue about what's real and not in movies.

Don't let that put you off. You should go and watch it just for the fun of it.

If it was an actual mission they could use F35’s.
For the movie they could use cgi as they did for 3 other aircraft, or they could film no name pilots like for the SU 57s.
You can't CGI g-forces on pilots as well as them talking while pulling G's.

Will wait for the hype to die down, cinema should hopefully be a bit quieter, then I will go and see it.
I've never been a fan of large crowds.
