It was on Netflix a month ago, don't know if its still there. Sometimes they remove older films when the new one comes out and there is a hype around the older ones too. Did it with the older Addams family movies.

Yea it was probably Netflix, I remember seeing it on one of the streaming services but looks like it's gone now, will have to rent on Apple TV.
Booked IMAX for Sunday and wife has never seen the first, so guess this is Top Gun weekend

Here is a question (overthinking) that just came to mind:
Why couldn't they use Growlers to suppress the SAM radars and they comms? Were the SAMs IR guided? They didn't look IR guided.

It's a Hollywood movie, not a military documentary. There are a number of things that make no sense in the movie, but they're fun and that's what matters at the end of the day

Yep, it's a good point. Saw a "reaction video" where fighter pilots were talking about the movie and their thoughts. hey said the exact same thing, but they also said, 'It doesn't matter, it's not a documentary and this fits better with a movie." Basically, yes, but also Hollywood.
