Top tech journalist moves on

I am rather sad to see Ben leave the Finweek team. With him handling all the techie stuff and Belinda covering business tech they made an excellent team with great content. I am sure we will be in contact with him for comment on African telecoms though – now he can be asked for his opinion on exactly how well Ivy is doing :D

Kelly will be a telecoms analyst at Ernst & Young in their global telecoms centre Africa, an area he says he is interested in, providing him with an insight into African telecoms that he would never be able to get as a journalist.

That is an opportunity that couldn't be refused! I think it's a really good move for him- opens a door for expansion in so many ways- and also wish all the best.

When does he leave Finweek? - maybe his arm could be twisted such that he would agree to writing a precis of Poison Ivy's adventures in stuffing up SA's telecoms sector...

The way the article title was written I thought he had died or something.
