No problem... I have all of the channels for which TopTV gives program guide information on their website. I think the only ones they don't seem to have info for are Fox FX (really sucks - I'd love to see how this channel works out on the stats), Star!, Discovery ID, Natura, Top Gospel, Q TV, One Music (used to be Nigezie), and Music Choice.

I'll try remember to update the forum when TopTV next updates their TV Guide - Right now the last day with a load of information on it is the 26th.
 
Would be fun. All we really watch on there is beach patrol and stargate (oh I also enjoy Glen Martin).
Both glen martin and Stargate are on repeats that I have noticed.

Hope you keep posting summaries here.
 
I swear they have someone watching this forum. Suddenly all but one of the channels have info. I am getting info on the channels. I should be almost up to the whole of the month. I will update when I can get the whole of august's data. :)
 
I have a really uuuugly sample up on http://toptv.digitaltinder.net/stats.html - it's like a 725kb html file. Once it's loaded you'll see a list of all the channels and some basic stats about them. If you click on a channel, detailed stats will show below it, listing each show on the channel and how often it has been repeated.

Two things:
1. It's really, really ugly, so please don't moan about that. (as I said in a previous comment - I'm a developer not a PR person... so I do functional, not pretty)
2. The show names are exactly as per the TopTV site, which means they're not entirely accurate often and sometimes there will be two entries for one show - one might have a ':' at the end and the other doesn't. I haven't tried to filter those out or improve the show names to fix that.

edit: Forgot to say this is data from 1 August to 29 August... so not quite the entire month. While Top One looks like it's super amazing, I think a lot of its shows are those short puff pieces that don't really count... but if you look at the details for the channel you'll see how often each *real* show is repeated across the month.

I noticed yesterday while channel flipping that the same movie was being shown on Top movies and top movies+24 .... now that seems like such a waste ... y show the same movie on both channels?? does this mean that 24 hours before that(Wednesday) the same movie was showing!!
Come on TopTv ... please do something about this ridiculous and unnecessary repeating of everything to such insane levels. Time to buy so new content or u will lose ur customer base!!
 
My Seinfeld also went back to the beginning again.

Its an ancient series running syndicated, and 4 seasons were just cut.
I know i must be patient with Top TV but unfortunately my wife isn't.....

I give them one more month and then im leaving.
 
las vegas going on repeat again as well from season 1 eps 1 again after 3 season (Repeats).
 
Check their TV guide on the website for October 2010. Not much change on their channels. A few new shows on TopOne, otherwise it is repeat after repeat on TopHistory, TopExplore and TopCrime. Sad state of affairs. Can new channels save this service?
 
Now you can see what I have been going on about, they have been repeating everything since they kicked off on the 1 May when my dish was installed. I HOPE YOU peeps are not paying them for their repeats.

Funny thing is, as relatively new subscriber [+-1 and a half months], i can already see this disgusting repeat formula.......

I never moaned about repeats when i was on DSTV premium for over 4 years, and in my opinion the repeats were bearable.
 
TTV needs to catch a wake up because my dstv is turned back on we have been with m-choice for 20 years and how many other ttv subs have been with dstv for years, dstv's problem is that they have become to expensive, that is why I changed to ttv so now I am on dstv compact atleast the repeats are not as bad as toptv.
