TopTV announces two new channels

African Movie Channel

The second new channel announced for TopTV is the African Movie Channel (AMC). TopTV said that AMC is the replacement channel for Hi Nolly, and boasts an extensive library of African movie titles and soaps, series and dramas.

I would advise against the acronym. AMC is also the acronym for an American cable channel (Breaking Bad, Walking Dead etc.) and it might dash some people's hopes when they see AMC on TopTV. Instead they'll get the best of Nollywood. :D

We want sport ... We want sport ... We want sport ... We want sport ...

Did they reduce the subscription as a result of providing these channelzzzzzzzz?

2 new channels, YEAH!!!! :)

NHK World TV and African Movie Channel....... aaaaaah :erm:

Hmmmm, Anime channel, that could be interesting.

But I only see one new channel as the other is a replacement channel.

No sport please. That is what DSTV is for (and the reason why I don't want DSTV)

BOTH are replacements,NHK for Current and AMC (spit) for Hitv.Still less one channel, onemusic or something.

Afaik NHK is fta on intelsat in HD.

Come on TopTV - bring us a decent movie channel that competes with MNet Movies!

I'm tired of only being able to watch two recent (less than 2 years old) block busters per month which you repeat to death on three separate channels (channels 100, 101 and 102).

If it is good sport like basketball, ice hockey and international football, then maybe.

All the movie channels seemed to be copped. DSTV was the same as I recall, so I don't even bother with movie channels anymore.
