TopTV Installers Bloemfontein?

Does anyone have a contact for TopTV installers in Bloemfontein?
 
Had dish installed this morning in Melkbosstrand by Integri TV - 0833069077. Friendly and efficient, thanks.

Cannot record to HD recorder (LG RH387) by RCA because of Macrovision block in signal. Ball-ache! This might just be a show stopper and a return to DSTV!
 
It can be done with some clever cabling.

Besides, DSTV are about to roll out Macrovision as well.

Please could you elaborate on "clever cabling". I can record over RF, but then stereo sound is lost.

Look around on the forums, there was an entire thread about it where some clever workarounds were found.

I'll try to find it for you.

I got my installation in Northriding done by IP Installations 083 288 3233. The guy was super friendly, and did a great job. Now just waiting for activation from TopTV's side to come through (Called them at about 3pm to activate, still waiting for it to complete).
 
installer in PTA

Got my Installation done today by Optimal TV systems. THey did a good job, and was also quick to do it. They are in Queenswood Area, PTA tel 012 333 7772
 
Got my installation done an hour or so ago by MICROTRONICS in the Strand. They told my they wold come today AND THEY DID!!!!

After being dropped TWICE by Sats-R-Us. Booking install dates and not pitching up and NO phone calls to even say sorry.
 
I am sooo happy!! Instalation guy, Belius Potgieter did a tremedious job on the instalation, thanks man. I love this TopTV stuff, great for you guys. Never had DSTV..too expencive. I am crazy about rugby, cricket and F1, but realy.. are you going to pay that amount of money just to watch sport. TopTv suits me fine, whould even kick the crappy movie channels, love discovery and wifey(and 7 week old baby) likes kiddies channels. Every ones happy! GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY.
 
The installer we arranged last week Tuesday says that they are not doing any more installs till they get paid by TopTV.

I have already paid the difference required for the month, guess I'll get credited but am not very happy about this.
 
hi. how is the programming? which package did you choose? how is the signal?
 
yes you do need a customer number or reference number. if your installer does it with out the ref# top tv will not pay him.
my installer would not come out to do the install until i gave him the number. it took me three days of frustrating call to get it but eventually top tv people called me and gave it to me. now installer says he will come out on thurdsay. fingers crossed.
 
I've purchased my TopTV decoder about a week and a half ago. On the same day I phoned an installer and they gave me a week waiting period for the installation (due to being so booked up).

I was a bit upset about the fact that I had to wait a week to get it installed, but I understand the demand for installations at the moment so it wasn't a big deal. This morning was the day they were supposed to come out to do the installation. Not having heard from them in a week I phoned them to confirm the booking. They acknowledged the booking but said that they don't have dishes in stock and I may have to wait another week, they also mentioned that if I can find another installer I should phone them.

This is a load of rubbish as I was not informed beforehand so I could make alternate arrangements, not an e-mail or sms to give me an early warning. I'm now struggling to find an alternate installer, unfortunately have come out unsuccessful so far.

I have had excellent service from TopTv in regards to setting up accounts, payement, etc. so far, however it's the 3rd party that are not doing their job and I'm becoming quite irratable.
If anybody know of any accredited TopTV installers in the Pretoria, Silverton area please let me know in this thread or drop me a PM as I can't continue to be messed around like this.
