I've purchased my TopTV decoder about a week and a half ago. On the same day I phoned an installer and they gave me a week waiting period for the installation (due to being so booked up).
I was a bit upset about the fact that I had to wait a week to get it installed, but I understand the demand for installations at the moment so it wasn't a big deal. This morning was the day they were supposed to come out to do the installation. Not having heard from them in a week I phoned them to confirm the booking. They acknowledged the booking but said that they don't have dishes in stock and I may have to wait another week, they also mentioned that if I can find another installer I should phone them.
This is a load of rubbish as I was not informed beforehand so I could make alternate arrangements, not an e-mail or sms to give me an early warning. I'm now struggling to find an alternate installer, unfortunately have come out unsuccessful so far.
I have had excellent service from TopTv in regards to setting up accounts, payement, etc. so far, however it's the 3rd party that are not doing their job and I'm becoming quite irratable.
If anybody know of any accredited TopTV installers in the Pretoria, Silverton area please let me know in this thread or drop me a PM as I can't continue to be messed around like this.
