TopTV makes porn channel application

It so sad to see Top tv fighting the battle alone, and should Top tv be successful we will see DSTV coming with a whole lots of porn in HD and keep all their customers. Porn will make me reconnect my services with Top tv.

Christians make me sad with all their channels that are everywhere but want to have an input on what other channels we should watch. I just say " Just get your money and stay out of other people's business"
 
I really don't understand what is a big deal about the porn channels. Any other more or less civilized country has porn channels 24/7 available. What is a problem having them here as well. It is not like our rape rate is not one of the the highest in the world in any case, that we need to worry about this. Every single country that i have been to, you booking a hotel room and you got few of your special interest channels. What the hell is wrong with south african authorities? Sometimes the south african logic is beyond me.

Gives them an opportunity to allow a vocal minority to speak on behalf of everyone. That Errol Naidoo twat will probably threaten another boycott on behalf of his cult.

True he did not reply directly to my comment, but he admittedly decide to make reference to my comment.... Because he interpreted my statement of not being happy with the on-going lack of value I get from TopTV as

(quoting) "I thought your initial post was hilarious. It reminded me of little kid who says that because he is not getting his own way, he is going to quit and take his toys with him."

Btw, I get 100% of my content online... TED, EEVblog, Ben Heck, Revision3, MIT lectures even my porn. I pay for TopTV just because I like to idea of having a second satellite provide in our market and it's my small way it is my way of trying to contribute to us not getting back to "mono"choice. I still stand by my comment... since only one person in my house-hold occasional uses it, so TopTV is become a grudge purchase for me. And I think I have no reason to continue trying to 'sponsor' them if they bring out these channels, they can get my subscription from their new fan base.
 
My subscription was activated on the second day after they launched. I stuck it out for a whole year, and even though they showed mostly ***, I held out hoping for them to get decent content and also to stick it to multichoice. After a year I got fed up of all their promises and went back to DSTV. Sadly I know may people who went back. And to be quite honest, porn won't make me go back
 
As most of the other countries keeps saying: "South Africa is a young democracy".

The replies to this post just seem to emphasise this since we are still debating such petty issues that most of other countries have long since resolved. Porn is a very lucrative business that contributes a lot to the GDP of most countries. South Africa could also benefit from this IMO.
