Gah, I cant have two games that take up all my time?! Decisions decisions... I guess I'll pre-order anyway ($20 isnt that much at all) and when I get bored of D3, I can happily switch over :D
Who else will be joining?

I pre-ordered mine more than a month ago, got Torchlight 1 and 2 together for $20. Back then it said it would unlock on the 4th of July. Then it changed to "Summer 2012". Now it just says "2012" if I remember correctly. I want my game dammit!!!

Just bear in mind, the Steam Summer Sale should be starting soon, so they'll have some massive bargains again. Maybe hold off until then to see if the price drops?

Me, most definitely.

Being a HUGE Diablo 2 fan, I was basically frothing at the mouth when standing in a long line at the midnight launch of Diablo 3...

I don't think I've ever been more disappointed in my entire life... So I went searching for aRPG's looking for a true successor to D2; not that WoWified, Pay2Win, Error 37, Always Online (see error 37) abysmal excuse from a team of shareholder-feet-lickers... er... I mean developers.

So I've also pre-ordered TL2. I never played the first one but I have hopes seeing as the dev team consists mainly of the dev team that made D2 one of the best things to grace a PC, I have hopes for it.

Also going to have a look at Path of Exile. Looks equally promising and it's F2P.

Some of the people that helped develop TLII worked for Blizzard in the DII era ;)

I only expect great things.

Played and enjoyed the 1st. I will most probably love Torchlight 2 as well.

Was a huge fan of D1&2, decided to skip 3 because of the online crap for a single player game.

Pre-Ordered already ... played the first one, but never got around to playing it through the whole way, still enjoyed it though, and with all the stuff changed and added since the first one, number 2 can only be better

Pre-order is still at $20, and I stumbled on this - http://www.gog.com/en/page/2012_summer_promo
So worst case, 40% off (what is normal price?)

That's GOG, I meant Steam. Normal price is $20 per game, but like I said I got both games for that price. IMO there's no reason to pre-order if the price is the same as it will be on release and you get no other benefits.

I bought a 4-pack on Steam some time ago for me and my friends.
Going to be a great game to play (the beta weekend was way too short) once its finally out.

Still enjoying D3 at the moment, played TL 1 for about 1 hour then got bored, so I won't be pre ordering, will give the game a month or 2 and follow the forums before I decide

Got tired of D3, uninstalled to free up HDD space and will never give blizzard's version of ebay a second look. Purchased 4 pack of TLII on steam and got 4 x TL1 along with it and it all added up to the same price as one copy of boring D3. Not even sure if it will be better than D3 at all but certainly better value for money.

I don't know.

D3 was the first game of that genre that I played and I hated it.

This game just looks cartoony and ew.

About a gig and a half.

The game looks ****ing fun, so far, but I haven't played it for more than ten minutes or so at this stage.
