I don't see how that is relevant, I never asked for ISP advice, I asked for torrent alternatives.

It's because the advice given can be dependent on the type of internet connection you use. Wireless is even worse for P2P, and so much anything else IMO

So do I just load a torrent file in the web interface and it downloads it for me as HTTP and not P2P? Is it that simple?
Is there any other intervention that is required? Do I need to load trackers etc...?

Find your torrent and upload it to justseed.it. Then you just load the https link in your download manager of choice and let rip at full linespeed.
