Tagiton said:Hi I have been reading this post with interest and confusion mixed together.
Can someone tell me in plain simple understandable terms on what torrentflux is all about, how does it work, costs, does it use my bandwidth etc
Slimothy is providing numerous information which somehow doens't add up in my head
Anyone willing to write down what is it all about for me will be greatly appreciated
fishfly said:Ok simply put Slimothy has a SERVER somewhere, where he's setup the torrentflux (torrent_box account) we upload torrent files there and it leeches/seeds the file for us to that server
Then yuo use your home/work/whatever line to download the files to your system.
Easy
This ensures that you don't waste countless bandwidth on uploading as well as 3k/s on a iburst line![]()
waht you do is click on the torrent dl the torrent file so it has a extention of .torrent or .torAlso, do I have to cut and paste the torrent links to TorrentFlux?
