Torrents without being tracked?

Hey guys, most people on the forum download torrents to watch TV series or movies.
We used to download at work until my boss got a email stating that he downloaded something illegally etc.

I don't have time to watch TV series at home bec I work 12 hour shifts. I want to download TV series or movies at home using my 8ta 10gb promo. I won't be abusing it like 100gb a month as I don't have cap. For example maybe 3-5 episodes a week and a movie or 2 a week. I'm just a bit worried that I will also get the email. Is there any way or program that will hide my IP address? Preferably free? How do u guys Download torrents safely without being tracked and have any of u guys received any of these emails?

Hello :)

I have also gotten these emails from my ISP. They can't do anything to you - the just ask that you delete the program that you have downloade... Anyways, I use peerblock. Since then I have never gotten any emails again - it blocks your IP so that the trackers cant find you :)

The fact is our copyright laws are old and in terms of it torrents are illegal and nzb's are legal. Check recent MyBB articles. That is my recommendation.

True.... but it's bad for a company if they get an email from their ISP saying "please don't download illegal stuff".
 
1. Not particularly enforceable
That being said
2. Use peerblock
3. Switch to NZB entirely

Wouldnt know. I run an ISP and basically delete them instead of passing them on.
 
I heard something about magnet links being anonymous, not too sure about that though, but yea peer-block is good, else downstorm, but they're not free

As far as I know, only ISP's on the IS backbone forward you that crap. I highly doubt 8ta will send you that spam as Telkom Internet doesn't.
