Tottenham Hotspur thread

Spurs have the best away record in the league and are 3rd in the last 8 form table.
 
Spurs need to take out that Adebayor dude and maybe they will lose a few... i dont like them sniffing 4th
 
haha to all the haters saying spurs will never make a top 4. Love it when people underestimate them. Adebayor the beast!

I don't want to be mean, but you love it when people underestimate them? You must love it a lot. Except for a couple of years in the last 20 they've only been 4th twice. I like spurs (after manchester united - they're my second favourite team) but they've underperformed in the premier league era. I do hope they can turn it around though and make the Bale sale and subsequent purchases work for them for years to come!

I do love it when people underate them because we can beat any side on our day. even though we have only been 4th twice we missed it by a point last season and have come close a few times. They have underperformed in the premier league but the side is starting to gel well and I can see things only getting better for them. Sherwood has had an amazing start to the BPL so hopefully his form continues
 
Other Spurs fans I speak to are not convinced by Sherwood. But good luck against Dnipro tonight!

Terrible team selection by Sherwood, I dont think he is taking the Europa seriously. And yet again TERRIBLE form by Soldado, missing an open goal from 4 yards must be some type of record
 
Until they make winning the Europa more attractive I don't any manager competing for a Champs league place domestically will take the competition seriously.

From next season the winner of the Europa league will qualify for the champions league.

Anyway good they're still in the Europa league. Keep that distraction going
 
Lamela and Soldado cost around 50mill and have been about as effective as Carrol and Downing :erm:
