:O , but that does say when my car will come ? .... lol sorry im bored waiting for it to come![]()
Point is that Subaru states clearly how you should run in your car and it's not by doing consistent speeds and rpm's over a long range, hence my question to Fazda on where he got this information from ( Subaru Technical JHB? )

mine too, I feel like i got robbed
This is actually quite sad to see the lengths you are trying to go to to prove that you and only you are right!
When they refer to long periods at constant revs they are referring to an artificial situation where engines are set to rev at a certain number of revs for a specific period of time. Bench run engines are set up to do that, and that is the way Formula 1 engines are run in, but then long life is obviously not important.
On a trip between JHB and Cape Town, I defy ANYONE apart from a robot to keep their revs constant. Do yourself a favour and go out on the road and try and drive even 10 km without your revs fluctuating. If we all had to run our cars in over short distances, what would happen to engines in cars driven by reps for example - those things average 8 to 900 k's every day of their lives, and they are better for it.
Bottom line, is read the instructions and PLEASE use some common sense.
I REPEAT.....Vlad, enjoy the trip and your car will as well - you are certainly doing it more good than harm!

Have 1 parked in my driveway right now. I must admit for such a sports looking car from the toyota range it's interior for aircon buttons etc look like the yaris hatch. Looks crap.
Yep that was my problem with it as well. I'm not expecting a Audi interior but at least make it look like a R300k interior.
But the base model starts at R289,000 (and up to R350K)...or am I missing something here?
Just done my grocery shopping, one was parked next to me at P'nP, the next one was following me on the freeway, and the third was stopped getting a ticket, along with an Audi A1 - looks like the boys will be running up the cash registers at the local cop shops...![]()
