TP-Link Routers worth while? Archer D50 Decent?

Isn't that the one that comes with a R30 000 replacement warranty if your device is blitzed while plugged into it?

Think the Clearline warranty is limited to R25000, but in all my years of using them, I have never had one allow equipment damage. Have seen one literally blown in half (split in 2 pieces) and the equipment connected was OK.

Guys, I upgraded my system to a TPLink modem (cheap at R240 from Amazon) and a wireless router TPLink AC2600 (very expensive).
Works like a charm on a 8mb adsl line.
The theory is that the modem will suffer strikes first. I have lots of protection all over.

I see the Archer D50 has reached its end of lifespan as per the TPLink website, Sad its actually a pretty decent beast for the price. I love mine.

Got the D7 via Gumtree for R1000.. never been happier both for that price and its performance
