TPM for older PC’s

I’m not sure how TPM chips work , are they motherboard specific , model specific ?

I do have 2 perfectly working desktops running windows 10 Pro

One has a MSI H81M-P33 motherboard with a i5-4460

Other has a i3 550 with a Pegatron mobo (not
Much hope for this one )

Want to try and preserve these PC’s instead of dumping them due to Windows 11s requirements

They are office PC’s so Windows is required for accounting software

Keen to see advise from the experts
 
The processor requirement is the most restrictive; supported processors include 8th-generation and newer Intel Core processors as well as AMD Ryzen 2000-series processors and newer. These are all chips that launched in late 2017 and early 2018. Older computers can't officially run Windows 11.

I am seriously miffed.
I bought a HP ZBook 17 G2 in late 2016, maxed out everything with M.2 storage and 64GB RAM.
Nope, my i7 and my TPM1.2 does not meet the requirements.

Microsoft did say you can bypass the CPU requirement along as you have TPM 1.2 or higher

Yea I currently am I just wanted to look at the future , shame these PC’s just have to go to waste

Any idea if I can just get a TPM module for the MSI machine and at least save that one

If they have AMD CPUs you might not want to do it though

What's so important about a TPM 2 or for that matter any TPM that makes it minimum requirement for Win 11?
