TR-069 on Dlink DIR-825

Hi @AfriNatic. Could you please let me know how I can deactivate TR-069 on my Afrihost issued DIR-825. I migrated to another service provider after being on Afrihost fiber for 3 years. That router now belongs to me and I would like to be able to deactivate your access to it.

Login to your router, got to the System tab, then TR-069, disable it.

Thanks, but the setting was locked, that is why I posted. I could not disable it. I ended up installing a previous version of the firmware (not the Afrihost version). Now it is unlocked.

Yes you would need to downgrade to the 3.0.3 version to unlock it. That is the latest generic version from D-Link for this device. The v5 Afrihost version has a few modifications that we were getting ready for IPv6
