hi - Can someone remind me of the order that fines and notices are sent:

1) The fine
2) Reminder
3) Notice before summons (2nd reminder)
4) Summons

Is that correct?
 
I think so.

I had one for R100 posted to me in March, without a photo on it.
Was on the N1 near Paarl.

I thought I'd maar just pay for it.
It wasn't listed on View fines, ABSA do not recognise the number, and the SPAR here can't find it either.

I got my car pulled over for a spot check last month and the cops never mentioned it, and I had my Driver's License renewed last month- wasn't mentioned there either.

So I'm leaving it until step 2 now.
 
Current Affairs? :confused:

This may seem like a big deal to you... but it's not really a current affair to us! ;)

yeah although sometimes they skip step 2 for me

3) [-]Notice before summons (2nd reminder)[/-] threaten to jail you if you don't pay
4) [-]Summons[/-] nothing happen if you don't pay :D
