Your Windows 7 has this "Speach Recognition" application as native to the OS on all versions coupled to Ms Wordpad or any Word processing program. Look at Programs/Accessories/Speach Recognition and follow the prompts.
See no 3rd party application needed.

Nice ... but as with all dragons, it takes a while for it to stop breathing fire and get used to your voice.
