Hey All,

Would just like to let you guys know I watched Transformers 3 in 3d last night.

It was brilliant. Funny, action packed and lots of eye candy (although would have been much better eye candy if Megan Fox was still in the mix)

Has anybody else seen it?

But on a side note it was the first time watching a movie at the cinema (Pavillion) for over 5 months and I dont think I will be going back for awhile due to the state of the cinema and I must have sat next too the mascot of a smoking company cause i could hardly breathe! (used to watching movie @ home on my 46")

Although the environment wasnt ideal I was soon lost in the movie. I highly recommend it.

I was disappointed with it to be honest. The first hour is an incoherent mess and the last hour is a loud unrelenting CGI assault on the senses.
Its pure popcorn with no soul.
:(

Worst movie ever, just came back.

Cliched and stupid, stupid, STUPID.

Saw it in 3D and seemed as if it was post-produced from 2D, entertaining but not a keeper.

I have a home cinema with a kick ass 120" HD screen (ye - quick boast :) ) so never go out the the cinema. My son nagged me to go watch TF 3D so we went last night to Bedforfview and I was quite impressed. The last time I was in a cinema was about 2 years ago at Gateway in Durban and it sucked. Sound was way too loud and distorted and mad for a really crappy experience. Bedford however was very nice.
I fell asleep during the first half and got a shake from the wife when I started snoring - LOL. The second half had me glued. I love mindless action with plenty eye candy and TF fulfilled that role really nice. The 3D effects were great too. Love the scenes with the guys cruising down through the city in their wing suits. Awesome stuff.

I saw it this morning and it was allright.

Glad to see optimus isn't a pansy anymore and he kicks ass.

Rosie (Megan's replacement) has a cracking body but her face :O

All in all, better than the second TF but not the best movie I've seen in a while.

I feel Transformers and many movie like this are for the action and eye candy. Who really cares about the story?

I went and watched for the awesome graphics and effects and agree on Rosie body = rocking but Megan has a much better face.

And by the way it was shot where possible using the same cameras that did avatar.

ya so i'm quite a big Transormers fan, and have always defended them feverently, but... this movie was utter crap... the CGI was 10/10, but thats about it, the story wasnt well formed, huge chunks where left out and unexplained, the battles didn't properly live up to the level they were supposed to be (Megatron killed in like 5min :-/ ) and most prob the worst thing was Megan's replacement. DOnt get me wrong, Megan is not the world greatest actress, but she was still better than that stupid blonde, that somehow managed to run in HEELS, while the entire city was being destroyed, as well as calling Megatron a b!tch... :-/ seriously?

sigh, ok im done..

If you guys are watching Transformers for the plot/storyline you are doing it wrong.

Transformers is all about huge robots kicking butt and lots of big explosions. Nothing more. :P Watch it with that in mind and it rocks!

Never, ever, ever go to Pavillion (Dbn I presume) to watch a movie. Rather go to Gateway!! I'm always pissed off after the Pav, always have a bad experience there.

As for Transformers, I thoroughly enjoyed it, mind you, I didn't go in expecting too much.

As for Megan Fox...meh, didn't miss her one bit. Not at all.
