Transparent Proxy Issues

It does not look like it is working yet.
I am still receiving the same 'This IP is already downloading' message from certain providers.
In addition on one of my own web sites my IP is listed as '196.46.71.251' which seems to be the generic IP for the whole of the Western Cape?

Which site is that? There are some that can be resolved now while others that we require a change at a later date.

My own site(s) are not really of relevance but I can see my IP in the user logs.

oRiX reported being allocated the same IP earlier in this thread.
http://www.google.co.za/search?q=196.46.71.251

my IP is, i assume, CT specific as it's based, according to IP searching, in the BoKaap area. it's logged as a known spam harvester, leach bot etc...

Thus oRiX and possibly quite a number of us are apparently sharing the same IP address.

The 2 sites in particular from which I could not manage to download a single file from midnight to now are:
www.filesonic.com
www.fileserve.com
I keep on receiving a message that I am currently downloading a file which is not the case.

Thanks in advance.

Isn't this a proxy problem? Either filesonic and fileserve are incorrectly interpreting the proxy headers of iBurst's transparent proxy and seeing all iBurst subscribers as coming from one IP address, or iBurst's transparent proxy is not constructing the headers correctly.

It's strange because I haven't really had any problems with them in the past and I use them very regularly.
I've had problems in the past with Hotfile.com but that was working fine last night and this morning.

I am currently still experiencing the same problems as described before.

A new one has cropped up when trying to use Rapidshare. After the initial waiting period is over and I then click on the 'Slow Download' link I get the following message:
'Error IP Address Modified'
This is something totally new.

What is the url?

Issue has always been there with rapidshare and all other file sharing sites, I-Burst is blocked due to IP which is B.S., so how about I-Burst tell us about the progress and also how the now blocked www.furk.net service as well completely!

Not blocked. Will log a ticket with the international upstream and see why it is not reachable.

Had the same issue again as well. Last night I could not download a single file from www.hotfile.com all night (12pm - 8am). Kept on receiving the same message that 'You are currently downloading...' etc. even though I wasn't downloading a thing.

This issue has gotten particularly bad since last weekend. I have been able to download a grand total of ONE file from www.filesonic.com and www.fileserve.com combined since Friday during normal and after hours.

From filesonic I get the following message : 'Download Error: Free users may only download 1 file at a time.'
From fileserve I get the following message: 'Your IP address 196.x.xxx.xxx is already downloading a file.' (Obfuscation of my IP address in message added by me after the fact)

When I receive these messages I am definitely not downloading anything from either site.
When can we expect to have this issue fully resolved?

I'll post when full IP transparency is enabled.

Cable was handed over today and is undergoing a 24 hr soak test.

Thanks for the feedback Ronald.

The original transit was scheduled and done on 10 January 2011,
Cable handover was done on 11 January 2011 with a 24 hour soak test to follow as per your quoted post above.

What is the current delay and ETA to finally get this resolved?
