uh, actually you do have a choice, lets say adsl isnt available or like most sane people you just dont want it, you have sentech, wbs and dial up, see 3 choices, you may not be happy with the choices but there they are. You also have 3G, GPRS, smaller wireless companies, sattelite internet, siginets and WIFI, so you may not be happy with the options but you have choice, no one uses WBS because they have to, because everywhere WBS is, these other options are too.
 
Slimothy, you can get 2 unlimited accounts for R775 each, this would make R477 (line from 1th of August) + R775 ISP + R88 mandatory phone line = R1340 x 2 = R2680 pm

You can download about 316GB per month with that.

To download 316GB with iBurst you will pay on the 9GB account as follow: R1099 (for the account) + 305GB extra bandwidth at R349 per 3GB = R35,458, which comes to the total of R36,557, which is about 13.64 times more expensive than the dual ADSL option :-)

Yes I do have a choice, that's way I cancelled the iBurst, but many people don't. Sentech coverage is quite not very good as far as I know, also it is too expensive, dial-up modem during the day is not an option either as the leased lines would be cheaper, and ADSL is available only in certain areas ... so I understand people that have no choice they are stuck with iBurst. I feel sorry for them!
