Trendnet router and iburst

Hey guys i just got this router http://www.take2.co.za/electronics-trendnet-300mbps-wireless-n-home-router-4188775.html to use with my iBurst desktop modem. But when i do the setup the router does not detect an internet connection, and i cannot connect to the internet when using the router. The modem is plugged into the WAN port of the router. Any suggestions? Or does this router not work with iburst?

I've put in the correct username and pw in the router and all that stuff, its just not detecting the internet connection via the modem, but when modem is plugged directly to my pc it works fine.

I haven't used this particular router, but I doubt there'd be an incompatibility... It's just a PPPoE connection, username, password, MTU, and go... ?

i thought it'd be just as easy, but nope ... perhaps something wrong with my pc's network settings? Anything to look at there?

Check the logs of the roulter.
