Hi Guys. Received my trial account and did an IP lookup and it shows as xxxx.digichilli.co.za

I got a chill down my spine when I saw digichilli.

Anyone remember that chaos/debacle??

No. Tell us more...

They offered uncapped ADSL back in 2009/2010.

Everyone wanted it to work, and in the beginning it did.

Most people posted on their forum page those days.

Here is what I could find on MyBB:

https://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthread.php/207168-DigiChilli-ROCKS!?highlight=digichilli

https://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthread.php/220251-Digichilli-fail?highlight=digichilli

CambodiaDave constantly fixed issues, until he could fix no more...

Found these after searching. So I guess DigiScene just bought over whatever was left of DigiChilli? Or even more frightening, the same company starting up again?

EDIT: They're also saying they are running off a "new" BCSNet backbone, and DigiChilli were sold to BCS back then...

I loved the IS afterhour uncapped accounts. I think Afrihost and Openweb used to sell them.

Uhhhh. Nevermind. I'll stick to vox.

You guys are welcome to try it out and let me know. I'll look back into it after a few months, if they survive this time.

We are in no way associated with buying anything regarding DigiChilli. Test our network see the difference :)

People mentioned ispafrika and axxess... But can't seem to find an easy way to view this pricing

I'm with Axxess at the moment and the data is bundled with the line, no line only option.

OK. But why the very similar name, as well as the IPs resolving to DigiChilli? And the BCSNet backbone, which was the buyer of DigiChilli when they went under?

I am testing it since last night, and no complaints so far.

I have the 10mb line from ISP Afrika, it is R469. I assume that the other prices haven't changed: 20mb is R549, 40mb is R629 and 100mb is R729. All of the above include 10gb of data
