Trial accounts?

Hey guys, I'm currently on Afrihost Business Uncapped 8MB, but speeds are terrible these last fews days, so I'm looking for something else in the mean time. Do any ISPs besides Afrihost offer trial accounts? Free 1GB, one day uncapped, anything? I know Web Africa used to have 1GB free but I can't find it anymore, same with Mweb's uncapped trial...

When I first queried the issue I was told it was something on my end (no word from them since), but I highly doubt that based on the number of other people complaining at the moment. 3KB/s on HTTP is not acceptable when I'm paying for prioritised bandwidth.

Thanks, not sure why but when I checked Web Africa last night it was R39 for 1GB

Also I think Axxess has some ties to Afrihost if i'm not mistaken and for this situation maybe it's best to also avoid them

I should mention that Web Africa Business Uncapped has the same priority as home capped.

Any restrictions in terms of usage within that trial period? No obligations thereafter?
I ask because a while back I recall spotting a couple Hellopeter complaints regarding users apparently being "locked-in" after that 7 day expiry date.

i recently did > 80GB on 2Mbps trial and there was no restrictions to what i did. u just cant do the trial again for the next 3 years or something... and no payment obligations as they also do not have your bank details to create the trial account.

AFAIK there are two uncapped trials. One for the 2Mbps and the other for 4Mbps.
So I guess using one of them disqualifies you from the other?
