Tripping on LSD - what's it like ?

i'm curious - what's it like tripping on LSD ?

have read quite a lot about experiences . This is not for any research - just curious.

if you prefer sending me a pm (relating to the thread topic) feel free rather than publicly replying.
 
I once had a friend who told me it's perfect to play Burnout and watch anime on acid. Too bad I can't ask him now.
 
I ****ing love it! If you're keen on expanding your mind then go for it. If you're a thinker then you'll enjoy it immensely. It's very strong and not for the faint hearted, usually lasts a good 6-7 hours or so.
I used to say everyone should try it at least once but alas lsd is not for everyone. If you're deep and you love a good mind**** then I highly recommend it. Best places for consummation (for me at least) would be at home in a comfy setting (candles, good tunes, snacks for later, you can drive on the stuff but it feels like you're cruising at 200mph so not recommended) or at a full blown outdoor Trance party.

It's not something I would take, I'm way too tense a person for that but I have been around a number of people who have tripped and generally they have seemed to enjoy it although there was this:

The synopsis of a very long night - My friend and his girlfriend spent most of the night crying in the bathroom because they became convinced that me and another mate were summoning aliens with the music we were jamming.

My roommate at the time spent the evening in bed communing with the electric neon spiders swarming his walls (cliche, I know).

The same friend who locked himself in the bathroom went catatonic at some stage and it turned out the next day he thought that aliens had wrapped him in a bag of human flesh and left him outside in the cold.

So. Yeah.

Like i said, it helps if you have brains when you use the stuff ;) Seriously, shallow and stupid ppl will not do well on acid, true story!

LOL do you still get microdots? Geez a blast from the past, microdot plus E was insane.

I am not sure how people can explain tripping on acid, it is not the same for everyone. No real point asking, if you want to know go take some. I have seen some pretty hectic shyte though when people cannot handle acid :eek: not very nice at all. Luckily i never had a bad trip. Never smoke weed and take acid either.

I will ignore you inference about my friends there, and point out that anyone who has used any sort of psychedelic substance before should know that there is no guarantee of a good trip.
 
I've tripped on the upturned carpet before and that irritating step in the passage but never LSD. I wouldn't think it would be possible to trip on something so small but if you managed to I can't see how it would be very different from any other trip. It all depends how hard you fall.

That statememnt alone proves you have no idea what you're talking about. :) With all due respect, your friends can't be too deep if those were the thoughts they were having.
Not trying to wind you up, just giving my honest opinion.

Not sure - I've been clean for a long time, got bored of that life :) Not that drugs bother me - I actually think decent quality stuff is way safer than alcohol.

Granted, I wouldn't want to be around people on drugs, when not - they'd annoy me.

Your opinion is more than welcome, but coming from someone who is suggesting it's okay to drive while tripping on LSD you will have to pardon me if I also take your words with a pinch of salt.
