I can't keep up with this torrentflux anymore, one day nzb and ftp is working the next neither of them are, I'm going back to leasetorrent at least their service is stable, good luck.

Can't even log into the website to cancel my account :rolleyes:

I would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Up until today, Torrentflux was a beta service. As with any new service, there is always the possibility of small problems. We have ironed out all the small problems which clients experienced and we have also introduced new functionality such as full support for NZB files.

We have constantly been in contact with you and our other valued clients who have subscribed to this service. During the scheduled system maintenance we optimise the system and perform updates to both the OS as well as the Torrentflux system. We've put measures in place that ensures that no scheduled maintenance would need to be performed again. I can also give you the assurance that from today forward, Torrentflux subscribers would experience a stable service without any further interruptions.

At the end of the day we want to provide a quality and affordable service which gives our clients great value for money.

The NZB function has been activated and is fully functional. Please PM me your Torrentflux username with the exact problem you are experiencing and I'll sort it out for you, ASAP.
 
the ftp only allows 1 ip connect now!!! first it was 8 then 5 now one!!! i cannot start a download coz you viewing with a ftp connection, so how are you supposed to start a download if your one ip is already used!!

5 Connections are allowed on 1 IP. I've reset your account, please try again now.

You should order services like this from companies who specialize in what you're buying, not small businesses who try to be a jack of all trades. Now there's nothing wrong with that, but you've got to make sure that it's big company, who actually have divisions and staff who are trained to handle problems/setups/complaints in that division.

And ReubenL, I disagree with your argument about claiming it's a beta service, beta services should not be released to public on a paid basis. Unless you allow free access, it's not a beta anymore, since people will expect 100% reliability and value on what they're paying for, not excuses.
 
You don't need to shape IS uncapped accounts. They're shaped to hell already.

The service was beta in the sense of new functionality being added all the time. Unlike you, we try to give clients value for their money instead of milking them dry for every cent.

We are not a company "who try to be a jack of all trades" or who don't know what they are doing. We have been in the hosting industry for over 7 years and I assure you that we know exactly what we are doing when it comes to hosting. I can also assure you that each staff member is highly trained and skilled. I myself am a certified Linux professional with over 10 years experience of system and network management along with various other IT qualifications.

I would also suggest that you watch what you are saying in your little rants on a public forum, you might just have to face a public defamation law suit.

I also fail to see the link of what our services got to do with you? You are not a client, so our services are none of your concern.

Why don't you go and print some t-shirts or do something about your live chat that is always offline? :)

Firstly, I'd like to ask you to remain professional on public forums, this kind of behavior is really uncalled for. It's never a good idea to badmouth another company. It just comes to show that you're emotional about opinions being lifted. As a business you need to value opinions, and be able to take those opinions who aren't always in your favor- clearly after just reading your post, you are unable to do that, instead you're getting defensive and start bad mouthing. I was simply lifting an opinion of my idea of a beta service.

Secondly, when you start including the law into the conversation, as a company, you need to make very sure of your facts- as that's not something to make threats of, or just simply mention without being positive of your facts.

And finally, nobody said what our services had to do with yours, it's simply a public forum, where anyone can lift opinions about anything, if it's not something you like then counter it with a post less childish than what you just posted. Imagine a huge firm, such as Mweb, posting something like you just did, that would make newspaper headlines! :D And the last thing we do is "milking" our customers dry, we have testimonials to prove this, so obviously you haven't got your facts straight.

And even though Live Support isn't always online, it's linked to our ticketing system, which is managed by professional software and SLA systems, that our response times are lightning fast, and again, this is backed up by testimonials and reviews!

I'm not being emotional at all. You cannot give an opinion about our services as you are not a client. You are the one who is doing the badmouthing based on postings of 2 clients - this is unprofessional since you try to create an impression indicating that we do not know what we are doing.

I am well aware of my facts. Although "freedom of speech" is part of the constitution, there are limits. "Jy kan dink wat jy wil, maar jy kan nie sê wat jy wil nie." Remember that.

In your business capacity it is unprofessional and unacceptable to lift opinions about anything on a public forum. Perhaps try that in your personal capacity. At the end of the day you cannot give an opinion about something if you have no experience with it.
 
Hint: make a user account for yourselves instead of dragging both your companies names through the dirt.
 
AS a PAID customer of Torrentflux, I am very happy with the service and support provided by ReubenL and there team.

As for AeroVPS this is not the first time you've "voiced your Opinion " on another companies open forum.
Yes its a public forum and anyone may post here.But it just makes you look like sour grapes when you do.

I don't really care if you respond ( which i'm sure you will) but its HIGHLY unprofessional to post anything negative when you are a business owner, regarding some one else's business practices.
 
Well I have been wondering for the last 2 months which service to go for? AeroVPS or Downstorm?

AeroVPS guys have been great, really went out of their way for me. Even changed my IP address when my ISP started shaping it. I have for some reason always had download speed issues with AeroVPS. I eventually just gave up.

However this constant rudeness to other other companies with similar products is starting to make you guys look bad. Act like adults in a professional organization not like a 14 year old brat on the internet. The constant ramblings here is starting to make me realise who to choose between AeroVPS and Downstorm. A real pity as I really like the guy(s) from AeroVPS. *No offense Downstorm*
