Seriously, though. Of course not. Just the ones I happen to find worth commenting on. In some I do so mainly to present a dissenting view, especially ones that people have never heard before. Much like you or anyone else.

My frustration with all of this is that we don't even have consistently amusing lampooning or satire. It is not as if Dante or Desiderius resides on the forum.

The last time I checked the Roman Catholic Church stopped sending the unexpected Spanish Inquisition against satire. Certainly certain Catholic affiliated bodies (leagues and what not) have expressed views in favour of censorship of various degrees and forms but the Index Librorum Prohibitorum fell before even Vatican II and since Trent satirical works we seldom considered for prohibition (in contrast to secular authorities exercise of censorship).

Good satire (even if vicious) - which is generally a product of an acquaintance with and understanding of that which is the subject of satire - is infinitely better than broad sweeps that have no interest in understanding. The same applies across religious communities - by all means lampoon Islam from a position of trying to understand fellow human beings.

[for anybody not following - the Spanish Inquisition is largely a product of English propaganda and both Roman Catholicism and English hysteria are lampooned in Monty Python, Blackadder etc ...]

OP couldn't get it in/up and just ended up crying and posting about dem feels on FB. He then contacted his ex on whatsapp due to his alpha-ness. He's now looking for advice on what direction to take with his life.
 
@Arthur. I can't believe I actually chuckled at a few things you posted. Nice to know that underneath it all you actually have a sense of humour. I would sincerely like to see more of that Arthur around. ;)

Edit: And a staunch defender of the laissez-faire free market and minimal government. What an enigma!

I tried to think of a rebuttal but couldn't. Just remember, sometimes there are fun threads and don't need to be ruined with all the debate and seriousness

The alternative is now for someone else to go and have anal and come back here to post results. Any results. We need closure.
