Trying to get MTN upgrade cancelled

In December I took out and upgrade on MTN direct then cancelled it over the phone 2 days later. However since then the courier has tried to deliver the phone but I sent the package back with them. The problem I have is that the upgrade is still not cancelled even after phoning in a number of times. They say they can see the cancellation request on the system but can't explain what is the problem. I have even been billed for this. What does it take to get this done? Surely there is nothing complicated about it, but if there is please enlighten me.

Help please :(

can't decide which is worse, MTN or Telkom. A few years ago MTN responded to hello peter complaints but don't think that's happening anymore. makes even the optimist consider that we're not going anywhere but downhill
