no, wifi=2.4GHz...ptaWUG=5.8GHz...but trust me its worth it..R2100 gets you the est value for money you whould have had in a while...getting my kit end of the month..buya!

Just remember that PTAWUG is NOT a commercial entity. We are totally non-profit. No commercial services are run over the network (eg. selling internet or linking braches of a business together). So PTAWUG is not really the same as the planned Tshwane network - the Tshwane Metrofi which was almost the same as the project they are running now has fallen over a year ago and never got off the ground.

CyberDemon - if you are close enough to a highsite - 50-100m and if your laptop can 5.8ghz.
