That is the worst kind of graffiti.

I doubt they will catch anybody?

Here in our area the youngsters have vandalised the electrical boxes with graffiti and posters. I phoned The Council and they are still coming despite saying they would be here in a couple of days.
The Council person on the phone said they never can catch or prosecute anyone as these people do their dirty deeds in the early hours of the morning when everyone is asleep.

That area is under survailance. I know because I've seen the cams. They will know around what time etc.

Very mature and cowardly but that is rather typical of the arrogance of those Radio Pretoria listening closet racists.

Now don't be too surprised and cry crocodile tears that this is the straw that breaks the camel's back and insures that Pretoria will now finally be scrapped.

Just deserves.

Well unlike your mates I and others respect other people's symbols and their culture ... if that was not the case then the Voortrekker momument would have been rubble and a parking arcade or shopping mall by now.

Pity that such civilized behaviour does not extend to the boorish driekleur waving Neanderthals in Pretoria.

Tibby,

the statement you make could be adapted to read from the other side:

Well unlike your mates I and others don't respect other people's symbols and their culture - therefore all the names they gave places must be changed no matter the cost or hatred it generates.

Pity that such barbaric squads of torturers that transformed the country in the crime disaster did not learn anything about respect for others during the past 350 years.

Making statements such as yours (and my rewriting thereoff) does nothing to ease the tensions created by the proposed name change of Pretoria to Tswane.

The statue became a massive issue due to the name cange issue, and the painting thereof is public resistance against the ANC led campaign.

How I feel about it: Tswane symbolises potholes, electricity disruptions, traffic chaos, strike chaos
