Hi,

Is there any TT Connect representation on this forum to give clarity on the issues experienced by a few ISP's, particularly in Dunvegan?

There was issues with regards to connectivity last week, what is the issue?

The whole of yesterday and last night my connection was down, haven't managed to check today. Any reason why this was out and if it was sorted out?

Can see your link is back up Durran, most sessions have come back online but still with the ongoing drops.

Hi, no, just replied to the Cool ideas ticket, still down

Can't use wireless speedtests to your phone as examples :). Need something cabled.

lol I think you know 99% of the time it's cables since I've been coming to you with all these problems TT Connect have been given us (thanks for that btw). But his was literally when I got home from work and the only device connected to my router was my phone

Yeap either way the only reliable stick in the sand is a cable, if wireless (and to mobiles specifically) doesn't give anything clear.

Hi Durran, earlier on when I checked your session was up.

It might have been up for a short while but I didnt get any sue of it, when I got home from work and tried working from home, no connectivity, up to time of writing!

Have dropped you a mail, the session has been flapping but you should still have some form of connectivity.

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but is there any progress on this?

I keep getting disconnects and my speeds are terrible! I'm getting sick and tired of paying for such an unstable service!

I understand ISP's are doing the best there can and this problem is on TT Connect side, but something SERIOUSLY needs to get done about this now. I'm pretty sure myself and other customers are absolutely fed up with this now!

Some interesting behaviour that i found in the log file today upon failure of my internet connection.

Everytime the router updates DNS the connection drops

Log from planet router FRT-415N

54 Mon Jul 10 7:46:10 2017 system notice ppp1: update DDNS
55 Mon Jul 10 10:0:23 2017 system notice ppp1: link terminated

106 Tue Jul 11 12:5:47 2017 system notice ppp1: update DDNS
107 Tue Jul 11 13:0:27 2017 system notice ppp1: link terminated

the whole log is filled with entries as above.

Funnily enough, I had to keep resetting my CPE for my line to come back up. Literally just called up TT Connect now. Their technical support is absolutely useless!

I'm telling the guy there's a problem, he tells me there not. Told him to take my number down and have his higher ups call me.

Don't hold your breath.
