Has anyone got recent experience with TTConnect?

I have placed an order for Fibre via the Cool Ideas web site. Someone phoned me from TTConnect and initially set up a site survey appointment, and today was supposed to be the day. However, I've phoned their office a few times today so far (although they keep answering the phone with "Fred"?) and spoke to a few people, left messages etc. and nobody can confirm the appointment. I keep being told they'll get back to me, but nobody does. I need to confirm details because I need to be there to open up if needed, nobody else is available.

Why am I struggling just to confirm appointment time? What are the rest of the service levels like?
 
Update: Credit where it's due. Someone contacted me back eventually, pretty professional all around and appointment went ahead fine. Maybe just a hectic Monday.
 
Was going to say we can escalate as your ISP if need be.
 
I'm on TT Connect at Greenstone Hill.

Been about 2 weeks now. Had a few ups and downs (TT Connects side), but it seems kinda stable now. In terms of Cool a Ideas, they are absolutely great! Customer services help out as much as they can on phone and here on the forums and so far a really good experience with them.

I am really struggling with TT Connect. I ordered on the 14 December and was told I could expect installation end of January/early February. It is almost impossible to contact anyone from TT Connect and when you do, you are sent from pillar to post. I now want to confirm when installation will occur as I have cancelled my telkom line and I am wondering if I should have it reconnected.

Did you do it through an ISP? I made an account with Cool Ideas and they organised TT Connect to come over. A few days after making my account, someone from TT Connect called me and we booked an appointment.

If you are signing up with us then we can escalate for you? It's what we've just done for LLoydizle with his fault.
