TurboFlo

Ive been using a turbo flo in my cars for a couple of years..

I have had mixed results. I find that if the airflow path is relatively straight the turboflo makes a difference. but if you have a long bendy path before or after the air filter it doesn't make much of a difference.

I definitely noticed an increase in power on my little 1300 gets.. not much difference (in fuel or power) on my mitsubishi colt 1600 bakkie. We have noticed better fuel consumption and power on my wifes Citroen Picasso. I will tell you how its going with my newest bakkie in a month or so, its a 2002 2.2 drifter... Drinks like a fish right now.
(I don't see that changing much tho, its got a heavy back)

BCO was probably paid to write a positive review or STFU, he chose the latter I suppose.

Sorry about the no response. My blog is just kind of dead so I haven't posted a turboflo article. I did 5 000km with the turboflo device fitted to my Panda and ended up with the exact same fuel consumption as I had achieved during the previous 35 000km - 7.2l/100km.

In other words, the Turboflo had no discernible effect at all.

:p was just joking, thanks for sharing.

Honestly, I'm kind of surprised you didn't see worse fuel consumption (even if only marginal)...

Bump!

This morning on Radio 702 the con artist who developed the magic "Turboflo" gadget was at it again to advertise his useless invention and trying to convince people buying it.:cry:

It's more than a year since the inception of this thread and there is still no concrete evidence of any scientific evidence that it works, wonder why?

Don't get fooled into buying it, it does not work.

Wait a minute...I know of TurboFlo since 2001!!! Some guy was advertising it from his lawnmower shop that also doubled as a mechanic's workshop...omw!
