Pegasus air almost impossible to navigateThere are two main airports, the old and new one and they are not close together. It is not a problem if you don't have a connecting flight, but if you have a connecting flight check the airport as the budget airlines use the old airport.
Use Pegasus Air for your internal flights, they were brilliant and if you book early enough you can choose a seat with extra legroom, baggage and a snack for a few lira extra.
Also does not seem to have one way flights to NevsehirPegasus air almost impossible to navigate![]()
The alternative airport you can use to Cappadocia is Kayseri AirportAlso does not seem to have one way flights to Nevsehir![]()
Its not bad but I would have split it up.Sultanahmet in the Ottoman Legacy Hotel.
Although Kadiköy and that side is better, Sultanahmet is still great. Just touristy. But it's easy to get any where you need with public transportSultanahmet in the Ottoman Legacy Hotel.
My trip in June was Bodrum - Kas - Kalkan - Istanbul.@bokka1 I decided to do Istanbul and Cappadocia.
If you were as pressed as I am for time (I depart Turkey again on 7 Oct) would you pick Bodrum, Antalaya, or Kusadasi?
We are not really "hang out by the pool" folks, so I guess that answers my question. My trip in June was Bodrum - Kas - Kalkan - Istanbul.
I did not make it as far as Antalya and have never been to Kusadasi.
Bodrum was great and we had a great time, because it was in the middle of summer we got places with pools everywhere.
Our holiday was a very relaxing one, we did not do a lot of site seeing but relaxed at the hotels' pools and went out at night.
Easy one. I know I am not bokka but Antalya.@bokka1 I decided to do Istanbul and Cappadocia.

My time is so limited, so Cyprus not an option. We like historical sites, sightseeing and good food.Easy one. I know I am not bokka but Antalya.
I know many people don’t think outside the box, but you can also travel to Cyprus, which is close to Antalya and you can enter the nothern part of Cyprus on a Turkish visa.
Cyprus is an amazing place.
Google Kyrenia/Girne and read up on that.
If historical is what you want. Then Istanbul, Cappadocia, Izmir, and northern Cyprus is your must go to. Antalya is beach, coastal laid back. Food is amazing throughout Turkey. My time is so limited, so Cyprus not an option. We like historical sites, sightseeing and good food.
I stayed in Kuşadası as the accommodation is much nicer than in Selçuk .My time is so limited, so Cyprus not an option. We like historical sites, sightseeing and good food.

I ended up booking flights with Pegasus to Kayseri ... going there on the 30th and returning to Istanbul on 3 October. The alternative airport you can use to Cappadocia is Kayseri Airport
Very nice, you also don't need more time in Cappadocia, 2 nights max 3 is good.I ended up booking flights with Pegasus to Kayseri ... going there on the 30th and returning to Istanbul on 3 October.
Note - As I struggled to find this:Very nice, you also don't need more time in Cappadocia, 2 nights max 3 is good.
Istanbul you can spend at least 2 weeks and wont be able to see everything. Its a big city and lots so see and explore. (Hint) if you want to save some costs with travelling on taxi fares, get yourself the Istanbul Kart so you can use the trams, trains and other public transport. Well worth it.
