Tv Tuner

I'm using the Compro U2800F (Office PC, usb solution) , as well as the Compro E900F (Home PC, internal, dual tuner is lovely)

For a standalone external solution and if you have access to Esquire this Kworld external one is worth a good look. Think Esquire had them on special during the past week. Have one in the bedroom hooked up to a Samsung T260. It's also my "carry outside to the braai area" setup.

What was your question again ? :D

anyone have a tv tuner card or something that they can recomend ?

just do yourself a favour and make damn sure its compatible with the software that you are going to be using!

I bought a Compro and it turned out to be a fail. It wasnt supported by any of the open source media centres or even windows media centre.

ended up getting one of these instead

works like a charm. Im using media portal btw. I got my DSTV hooked up to the second screen (im running dual). Only downside is my PC needs to be on to watch...

But its always on anyway! :D

thx luke
i c some of them say HD and others not does that mean the quility is better with the other one hey
