Twitter, LinkedIn on the up

LinkedIn has a brilliant concept, but I keep waiting for their site to become polished and user friendly. It still looks like a beta version of something that could be really great. Their insistence on gaining access to your personal contact list and always trying to get you to read updates to your connections is irritating and appears unprofessional and immature.
