Yes if you sell it with their seal of approval. You can't even heavily modify Android anymore it is why custom roms mostly died out.

Jeeesus you are jumping around. No, if you mod a Linux distro and distribute it on your devices then you become responsible for maintaining and updating it. The same way if a kernel update is released it is not Linus Torvalds' responsibility to update all the distros.

You can absolutely modify Android and even you state they mostly died out, so does that mean there still some custom ROMs? How is that possible if you "can't even heavily modify Android anymore"? The reason there are fewer custom ROMs is because the system has mostly matured meaning most users are satisfied with it and because a lot of individual apps won't work on rooted phones. Not because of your lie that "You can't even heavily modify Android anymore".

Whatever you say. I'll take Apple screwing me over upfront vs Google screwing me over for years afterwards forcing it in every time they boast about a new Android / Google TV version update coming out.
 
Haven't installed the first generation AI, not sure I'll install the next one either.

Apple’s main bottleneck is trying to keep it private.

Again I'm sorry I forgot Google can do no wrong. Everybody will get Material 3 Expressive and get Android 16 and Android TV 16.
