Two die in horror N2 crash

Discovery just encourages the already existing behaviour of extremely nervous drivers who can barely operate a car. They don't really care about the real world negative consequences it has for things like traffic flow.

There seem to be two extremes of bad driving going on. You've got the lunatics who are running red lights, barely even slowing down at stop streets, habitually speeding down oncoming lanes and so on. Then you have the really slow drivers who cannot manage to pull away when a light changes, slow to 30kph every time they approach a green traffic light, sit forever at four way stop streets carefully looking all the way down the side roads in case there might be a car visible in the distance, etc. Both groups are a menace.

The irony of it is that there were 2 cars up the road manning a speed camera.

Of course sitting with camera behind a bush would solve that? Or is speed the only thing you regard as reckless? Speeding can be reckless, but so is many other things that go unenforced.

Yes, the many other reckless driving, if I wanted to say just speeding I would just have used that word. Anyway, back to the point, drivers are fking childign needing an adult to police them to behave. So the problem is the childish drivers. Grown up drivers and the police are not the real problem.
 
You guys need to figure out how insurance works. If Polo has insurance, then it is liability cover for the Polo, not anyone else. When bad things happen, and the Polo caused it, the insurance covers Polo owner's liability. If that owner is dead, then with whom does the insurer have a contract? The Rav? No. The truck? No. The party to their contract, to whom they are liable, is the Polo owner. And if he is dead, then his estate (and even then with provisions). So, the Rav injured would (without RAF) have to sue the Polo estate AND prove that the Polo is liable before that insurance would have to cover a damn thing.
