Two ISP accounts on one ADSL line

Hello.

I am technically challenged. I have two ISP accounts on one ADSL line. One is already set up and I have a password and username for the second account. How do I set up the second account? In simple terms please. I have a TP Link Router. The second account is the free 20gigs for the COVID Internet relief.

You first need make sure router is in half bridge mode, this depends on the router. Sometimes it is by default setup like this. This is normally a tick box under the adsl account settings on the router.

Once you done that you go to network on your pc and select dail up, then setup new connection. Then use the details to set this up. Select connect to internet, and select setup connection anyway.

Thank you so much. I have followed your steps but it doesn't seem to connect. Could it be that it is not half Bridge? I have a sure om 802.11g router. How can I check that it is or not?

AFAIK you cannot setup 2 ISP's on one router. You can setup the 2 ISP's on separate routers and then use a load balancer after that. Is this correct @Kosmik ?

Yep. You can also setup multiple dialups in windows through a single router though. We used to do it years ago during lans, common pipe but pcs used their own dial ins.

Basically the pc initiated the wan connection, not the router. The router was purely a meduim.

My D-Link DSL-G2562DG allows me to have multiple WAN services, so I have all my accounts added and all I need to do is enable one and disable the other as needed.
