Two port "mini" switich/hub

Anyone seen a cheap two port mini switch or hub locally?

I have a single ethernet cable behind my TV, which connects to a Pi - I'd like to add a Chromecast Ultra - both will obviously not be used at the same time.

1.) I cannot run another Ethernet cable.
2.) I'd ideally like something small
3.) Not wifi.
4.) TV is wall mounted, so space is limited.

I bought something off aliexpress, and after three months wait, discovered I badly read the description - its manual.

Chromecast Ultra uses ethernet for 4k support.

I was looking for something similar years ago, couldn't find a switch with fewer than 5 ports. The smallest switch I could find was this:

Those are also what I've found, problem is fitting them behind a TV.

See an eBay is a two piece adapter that takes two cables to one and then the reverse on the other side... Just dont want a wait again.

You do need two, one on each end, so guess that's R100, still cheap

Did you put it on BOTH ends? 2-ports used Router side and 2-ports device side with one cable in the middle?

You will also have to force devices down to 100-Mbit.

Yip... and both ports light up on the router.

Good point, that should make a difference looking at the wiring diagram above.

Will give it a try when back, away again till Sunday.

Further thought on this. Switching them around won't make a difference...

Just buy a 5 port switch and save yourself all the time and effort. Yes, I'll get attacked for this, but its the best solution.
