I have a 1991 Citi Golf with stock Rims . My friend has just taken his rims off his ford bantam and said I could use them...

These are the rims: http://www.twt.co.za/live/media/images/wheels/tsw/ApexR-small.jpg

As far as I know my rims are a 4x100PCD and the new rims are 4x108PCD, so I can get them changed... Anyone know the cost of this?

My question is about the tyres. The ones currently on my car are 15/80 R13
The tyres on the Rims are 175/65 R14

I'm confused about the rolling diameter and whether or not I can put these on or have to get new tyres or put the current tyres on the rims....

??

Any help will be appreciated, thanks!

you can check with your local tyre deal for a price, but i doubt it will be expensive...think i once read on the ford forums that is was something like r350...

...i pretty sure the tyres will not fit the rims

Oh yeah good point.... But can I put the current tyres on the new rims on my car or are they gonna be too big?

your current tyres are 13" and the rims 14"?? then it wont fit...

...but once you get the mags, sell your current rims with tyres on the classifieds, maybe even gum"boom" and then you'll enough cash to buy 14" tyres for your new wheels

OK...if you want decent advice, don't even think of going this route. You cannot just change the PCD on rims without major surgery to start with, then your tyres are one inch too small...i.e...........they won't fit. Save yourself the hassle and try and pick up a set of correct mags and tyres in the first place. TSW have always got nice combo deals.

Don't mess with rims, it's as dangerous as messing with brakes...if they fail, you are dead!

I bought 185/60/14 for R400 a tire last week. It will also fit those rims.

YES! But WHY use rims that won't fit in the first place? The PCD is wrong!!

Your right it's a complete waste of time rather try and trade them in the junk mail or something.

so ask your friend if he/she would mind if you would sell the rims...

...then you sell them, and yours, and you'll enough dough for brand spanking new mags and tyres

Just try and source Velociti rimz, they cool.
I wouldnt recommend any PCD changes for a 14" rim lol its just not worth it.

Because my friend is not using them and said I could. Rather than buying expensive new ones.

Sorry but this is just loony...so if your friend has a nice wedding dress that they no longer wear, would you wear that too??

The rims WILL NOT fit...end of story!!!
