Anyone got this 3d TV looks good in the shops and the 3d looks quite nice for active for like R4599 at Govan Mani can't find the TV anywhere else to compare the prices.

Would like to know if anyone has experience with these 6 series 3d TV's cause I want to use it for gaming and for bluray 3d movies.

I bought the 46EH6030 over the weekend and have no complaints yet. The display performs well in my light room, but to do 3D I make the place as dark as possible. IMHO any light in your peripheral spoils the experience and acts as a distraction. The downside for some would be the 2 HDMI ports. I have an amp with 4 in 1 out, so it's not a big deal for me. Overall for me, it gets the thumbs up.

Similar reply to Trixanno - we've had the 46EH6030 for6 months, along with an AVR which has 4 HDMI inputs, so we only need 1 on the TV. We use it for video (HTPC and Samsung BDP) as well as Xbox360 gaming and the picture quality is great IMO

Thanks for the reviews going to go for it then and our room is usually quite dark so its a plus for 3d :D

for the 2 ports I will use one for the 3d dvd player and one for the Laptop (got no speakers) so is the normal sound quality good?

They're standard TV quality, so nothing special. Hence, pairing with an AVR would be worthwhile. My friend hooked up a pair of decent 2.1 PC speakers though, via the TV's headphone output and was happy with that for almost a year.

Thanks so much so its like my old 5 series Samsung's sound which I like when playing music and videos :D

I do actually have an old Sony Hi-fi System with 2 speakers and 2 very old huge wooden speakers wonder how it would sound through those for the movies and how would I connect the TV to it?
